Abstract : The effect of optical rotation of the environment is calculated for the H(V) and V(V) low-angle light scattering patterns of two-dimensional spherulites. As with the effect of birefringence, the change in the H(V) pattern is greater than that on the V(V). With increasing optical rotation contribution, the patterns lose their characteristic shape and become more circular. (Author)
