Abstract : A FORTRAN IV program has been written to solve the two-dimensional heat flow problem. The program may contain up to nine regions of heat flow; each may have several types of boundary conditions (isothermal, adiabatic, contact, etc). The initial temperature distribution may be point-by-point, linear, exponential or sinusoidal. The alternating direction implicit method was used to approximate the partial differential equation. The program was designed for use on the IBM 7094 digital computer. (Author)
