Abstract : A method is proposed for reducing motion (blurring) of photographic images. The method requires obtaining two photographs of the same object with different rates of motion and exposures and substraction of optical densities. The origin and direction of motion of the photos must be identical. A 10-fold decrease of image motion is claimed; reduction of small motions is said to produce a resolution equal to 60-70 percent of that for a photograph taken without motion. (Author)
