Abstract : The objective of this study is to determine at what elevated body temperature cerebral blood flow is adequate to meet the metabolic requirements of brain tissue. This report consists of a group of three papers titled: (1) 'Cerebrovascular Response During Progressive Hyperthermia in Dogs', (2) 'Cerebral Oxygenation and Metabolism During Progressive Hyperthermia', and (3) 'Cerebrovascular Response to CO2 in the Hyperthermic Dog'.
