Abstract : The paper contains a geometric discussion of the question of the determination of antipodal points, on a sphere, at which two continuous distributions are equal-valued. It indicates the possibility of mathematically determining the location of these points when the two distributions are represented by mathematical functions. It also points out the nature of the points: they might define a continuous geometric locus (a curve on the sphere), be isolated points, or both. (Author)
