Abstract : The study applies recently developed time series modelling techniques to a set of marketing data. Two models are presented, one relating the consumption of a frequently purchased consumer product to its past history, and the other describing the dynamic relationship between the consumption and the price of the product. It is found that the basic techniques require some elaboration for proper utilization with this marketing data. (Author)
