Abstract : Four samples of lead telluride were tested and their thermal conductivity determined over a temperature range of 325 degrees K to 575 degrees K. The cut-bar method was employed and <10% accuracy is claimed. A specimen of Pyroceram which had been cut from an independently measured chunk was used to calibrate the apparatus over the temperature range of concern. A brief mathematical analysis used in designing the apparatus is included. (Author)
