Abstract : The molecular constants considered in this paper are the bond length (l), the bond order and overlap population (P), the quadratic stretch-stretch force constant (f), and the bond dissociation energy (D). Briefly reviewed are the different types of l, P, f and D values in present use, chosen a consistent set of equations for their correlation and evaluated the empirical constants present in these equations, from a set of standard molecules for each bond-type, for which accurate experimental values of l, P, f and D were available.
