Abstract : The dependence of the intensity of the V(1) Raman band of S3(-) at 531/cm on the frequency of the exciting radiation was measured in the region 4765-5145 A and at 6328 A. The NaCl lattice mode band at about 350/cm was used as an internal intensity standard. The results could not be rationalized on the basis of current theories. (Author)
