Abstract : The report describes the various forms of the forward and the adjoint Boltzmann equation. Several sections outline the simulation of the forward and adjoint equations by Monte Carlo. The difficulties involved in simulating directly a flux equation are discussed. A final section describes the Monte Carlo solution of the Boltzmann equation for problems involving multiplying media.
