Abstract : Target recognition is accomplished by storing data in the computer memory and comparing them with those obtained from the object under consideration. The data is amplitude variation versus angle for the bistatic experiments but can also be amplitude variation versus time for a monostatic experiment. The data displayed in this paper have no value other than for an example application of the computer program. It should be noted however that data obtained from model targets in the laboratory could easily be modified to represent real targets in the sea or the air. (Author)
