Abstract : The treatment of a patient with severe kyphosis of the cervical spine due to tuberculosis involving C2 to T2 inclusive has been outlined. It included antituberculous agents, cervical traction for reduction of the kyphosis and an anterior approach for simultaneous debridgement and fusion. The entire anterior cervical spine can be approached through a single incision and that a rather extensive fusion may result only in moderate limitation of motion. (Author)
