Abstract : The programs described in the manual simulate behavior, especially vote-trading, of three decision makers faced with a set of issues for collective decision. The programs define a multivariate space of conditions hypothesized to affect collective decision processes and their outcomes. Simulation runs generate a set of decisions for each combination of values of the specified conditions, then calculate several measures of the quality of these decisions (i.e., of the relation between the decisions and the utilities of the decision makers). The simulation method permits the researcher to asses the impact of many conditions affecting bargaining processes on the qualities of the decision outcomes. (Author)
