Abstract : The supersonic flow in the inner region and the outer region, respectively, of an annular wing is calculated by the method of singularities. The boundary condition leads to an integral equation of the Sonine type, which can be solved exactly for special profiles only. However, under the assumption that the diameter of the wing is large compared to the length, this equation may be expanded and gives for every step an integral equation of the Abel type. As examples, the singularity functions as well as the velocity distributions were calculated for different profiles. Already the second step of the iteration agrees well with the exact solution.
