Abstract : Analogue model measurements of electromagnetic variations over an anisotropic conducting cube embedded in a conducting flat model earth in the near field of an oscillating sheet current, line current, vertical magnetic dipole, and a horizontal magnetic dipole are presented. The Ex/Hy and H2/Hy ratios are given as a function of frequency for several depths and orientations of the anisotropic cube and horizontal distances of the cube from the overhead field sources.
