Abstract : A Volume-Entropy-Energy (VSE) equation of state requiring six parameters is here developed which is evaluated for n-heptane in the ambient pressure range by calculating several thermodynamic quantities and comparing these results with direct measurements that have been reported in the literature. The agreement over broad ranges of temperature is of the order of 1% or better in all cases except external pressure. (Author)
