Abstract : This final technical report presents and summarizes work accomplished under the Contract. The project consisted of two tasks. The first task was to develop and implement a set of iso-threat contours into a scenario designed to aid a defense analyst in determining the optimum penetration route for tactical aircraft. The scenario was developed using a government-supplied defense-site data base and a terrain data base generated from an appropriate map. A file management system and a high-level user-oriented computer language were developed to facilitate implementation of the scenario and manipulation of data. Included with the first task was a definition of threat probability for a predetermined flight plan. The second task is the implementation of a government-furnished scenario. As such, the scenario provides an iterative ECM Mission Planning System, in which the analyst may dynamically redefine the mission profile by varying specified parameters. User interaction with the system is provided through the BR-90, an optical projection-CRT graphical display console. (Author)
