Abstract : The study is concerned with Navymen's opinions of the service given them at Navy personnel offices, disbursing offices and dispensaries. A sample survey research design was used to obtain approximately 5,000 responses from a two percent random sample of the Navy enlisted population. The aspects of service analyzed fall into three groups - managerial, competence and interpersonal. Differences in degrees of satisfaction were also examined between lower and higher rated men and between men having different duty assignments. (Author)
