Abstract : A controlled vacuum discharger for switching of high-frequency pulse currents containing a chamber connected to a vacuum pumping system, two base and one moveable electrodes is distinguished by the fact that with the goal of improving the frequency characteristics, the chamber is made in the form of an open crack in the body of an insulator, for example, of organic glass, and is hermetically sealed from both sides by two metal laminated electrodes, while the width of the electrodes and the chamber is less than the distance between the electrodes and the moveable electrode is mounted on the insulator on one of the base electrodes near the chamber wall.
