Abstract : The authors studied the structural changes in the organism of guinea pigs enterally immunized with plague EV vaccine in a dose of 250 million and 20 billion microbial cells. Immunomorphological changes in the form of proliferation of lymphoidal and reticular tissues with formation of epithelioido-cellular granulomas, macrophagic reaction and hyperplasia of pyroninophilic elements developed in the mesenteric lymph nodes. Changes in the spleen and remote lymph nodes were insignificant. Productive mesenterial lymphadenitis with granulomatosis resolved by the 18th day from the time of immunization of guinea pigs, even when massive doses were used. (Author)
