Abstract : The paper considers threelevel ANDORgate realizations for threshold functions. The threelevel realizations presented require substantially fewer gates and gate inputs than the minimum gate twolevel realizations for the same functions. For example, the minimum gate twolevel realization for the sevenormore out of fourteen function requires 3,004 gates and 21,021 gate inputs; the threelevel realization presented for this function requires 120 gates and 658 gate inputs.
