Abstract : The extinguishing systems were tested for a space environment simulator having a 100% oxygen atmosphere. The systems studied were a Freon 1301 (bromotrifluoromethane) system, and water spray heads using ultraviolet detection, flame detectors, and ionized particle detectors.
