Abstract : The fundamental results of the Method of Averaging have been generalized in a manner so that new mathematical results are suitable for application to a large class of problems arising in applications. Gyroscopic systems with large conserved momenta are studied using the theory of singular perturbation. A new mathematicalresult valid for finite time has been obtained. The results of the mathematical analysis are applicable to gyroscopes devices with high spin. (Author)
