Abstract : The problem of calculating the wall temperature in the presence of chemical reactions is treated by considering the heat transfer between a thermally dissociated gaseous medium and a cooling fluid which are separated by a two-layer wall. The effect of dissociation on the temperature of the heat transfer surface is demonstrated by assuming that given heat transfer coefficients are constant. (Author)
