Abstract : There are many factors which may contribute to the prediction of good and poor outcome in military service for delinquent samples. An approach can be made by way of type of offense, number of offenses, age at first offense, duration of contact with juvenile authorities, or a combination of these and other factors. The present report studies the relations between amount of education and eventual outcome in service, between the number of apprehensions by police and eventual outcome in service, and between education and number of apprehensions together in relation to service outcome, for a Minnesota juvenile delinquent sample of Minneapolis and St. Paul combined.
