Abstract : Usually there are a variety of sophisticated plot programs available for computer users in every installation. However, for a novice user who might want to quickly see a plot of his data the use of these programs can become cumbersome because of the rigid requirements in preparation of the data and in the use of the package. For this reason GRAID (GRaphical AID) has been developed which allows a user to input, generate, manipulate and display his data quickly and easily. The rules of the language have been kept to a minimum and as close to the conventional ways and human habits as possible. The language answers the needs of a moderate range of users with a minimum amount of time invested in learning. (Author)
