Abstract : The invention involves an aluminum-base antifriction alloy containing silicon, zinc, magnesium, and manganese which is distinguished by the fact that for the purpose of improving the mechanical and technological properties and for lowering the cost of the alloy it has the following composition in percentage: silicon 6-8; zinc 3.6-5.6; magnesium 0.15-0.25; manganese 0.1-0.2; impurities (no more than) 0.6; copper 0.2; and aluminum the remainder.
