Abstract : This invention pertains to aluminum-base antifriction alloys used in motor and tractor mechanical engineering. The proposed metal is specifically designed for the manufacture of internal combustion bearing inserts coated with a bread-in coating. Heavily loaded internal combustion engines with a specific pressure up to 600 kg/sq cm impose increased requirements on the strength of the antifriction aluminum alloy. These increased strength features are achieved by selecting an alloy with the following composition, in %: Lead 4-6; tin 1-3; copper 0.5-1; silicon 1.5-2.5; nickel 0.1-4; aluminum remaining.
