Abstract : The specific objectives of the study is to determine if a strengthening of criteria for acceptable decision-making performance does afford those individuals relatively tolerant of ambiguity an opportunity to widen the effective performance gap between their decision-making activities and those of their contemporaries relatively intolerant of ambiguity. Another objective is to determine those variables or parameters that could be appropriately utilized by organizations to select individuals who are in fact relatively tolerant of ambiguity. (Author)
