Abstract : The work is devoted to the study of the effect of the dispersipn of the molybdenum disulfide and graphite on the rheological properties, the mechanical and colloidal stability, and the thermal strengthening ability of lubricants of different types. From oils DS-8 and MK08 not containing additives, there were prepared 6 lubricants thickened (10 percent by weight) by lithium sterate, a complex of Ca-soap, and silica gel waterproofed by butanol. Antifriction admixtures (10 percent by weight) were mixed into prepared lubricants.
