Abstract : A candidate repellent was evaluated on New Zealand White rabbits for its potential to cause skin and eye irritation. The data obtained serves as a basis for making the following recommendations concerning its potential use on humans. These recommendations are intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of the compound. There are no restrictions for acute application to the human skin of ENT-32079-a. Irritation of human eyes is not expected if this compound should accidentally get into the eyes, provided it is washed out as soon as possible. (Author)
