Abstract : The flight dynamics of a Singer-Link General Aviation Trainer-2 (GAT-2) are analyzed theoretically and experimentally to determine the fidelity of the simulation of a light twin-engine airplane. The simulation is shown to be reasonable for experimental purposes. Four control modifications, sideslip compensation, lift compensation, position-position roll correspondence, and follow-up trim, are presented and documented. (Author)
