Abstract : The equation of state and heat capacity obtained from this work make it possible to determine the energy and pressure of water from its temperature and density over a wide range of thermodynamic parameters, with an error of 15-20%. The equation of state and heat capacity also determine, in parametric form (by means of the parameter T), relationships among the quantities (p, rho, E) which can be used in the solution of certain hydrodynamic problems.
