Abstract : The report summarizes the results and conclusions reached in a study of viscous transonic flow which was made to determine the behavior of weak shock waves adjacent to curved surfaces, to study the effects of viscosity on the transonic flow of a vibrationally or chemically relaxing gas, and to investigate the transonic flow of an electrically conducting gas in a nozzle.
