Abstract : Intensification of acoustic fields by delivery of energy into the compression zone and removal of energy from the rarefaction zone is shown. In order to obtain a stable field of pulsating detonation waves and increase the effectiveness of influence of various physical and chemical processes, a chemically-active agent is introduced into the acoustic field of generators in cascade. The agent may be, e.g. in a gaseous state. The heating and cooling of the gas is made in the compression or rarefaction zone, up to the temperature of an exothermic or an endothermic reaction.
