Abstract : The Survivable Flight Control System (SFCS) Program is an advanced development program of which the principal objective is the development and flight test demonstration of an SFCS utilizing Fly-By-Wire and Integrated Actuator Package techniques. The studies and analyses conducted to date have sufficiently defined the system requirements to provide a definition of an approach to the implementation of the SFCS. The results of these studies and the definition of the approach are presented. (Author)
