Abstract : The method suggested for isolating an anomaly in the eddy layer close to the surface of a cone with a supersonic stream flowing around it under an angle of attack is used to solve the problem of flow around a conical solid which is slightly different from a rounded cone. The solution appears accurate for smallnesses of the first order, uniformly approximating the solution in the entire disturbance region. The solution was obtained in the form of quadratures.
