Abstract : The results of experimental research on the transition of partially stabilized superconductive solenoids with cooled and compact windings to their normal state are introduced. The transient processes for solenoids with a cooled winding are investigated both in a vat with helium I, and in a vat with superfluid helium II. The experimental data are discussed from the point of view of existing model concepts. (Author)
