Abstract : Variations in the gross productivity of recruiters among recruting areas for each service are examined. The major finding is that there are large disparities in gross productivity which suggest that improvements in economic efficiency of recruiter allocation can be made. Consideration is given some theoretical and institutional aspects of recruiter allocation problems. (Author)
