Abstract : An improved Ray Tracing Hybrid Computer Program is described that determines ray paths in three dimensions. The program determines the firing azimuth and elevation angles necessary to direct a ray to a desired target location. An improved Satellite Orbital Simulation Model that predicts the lifetime of a spherical satellite is presented. A Fourier Data Analysis Program developed to operate on an EAI 8400 digital system with 32K of core memory is described. The Cooley-Tukey East Fourier Algorithm is utilized to generate either the autospectrum of a time series or the cross correlation function of two time series. A hybrid computer program to provide solutions to partial differential equations describing seismic phenomena is discussed. An attempt is made to take the classic hybrid techniques for handling parabolic partials and extend them to provide solutions to the more complex hyperbolic partials. A stable but rather inaccurate hybrid model is described and several techniques for potential improvements are discussed. (Author)
