Abstract : The Bachinskii equation was used in a given form. Experimental data on the viscosity of m-xylene at elevated temps and pressures was treated by the least squares methods to calculate the values given. The constants were then expressed by given equations. Values obtained experimentally and those calculated from the given equations are tabulated for the viscosity of m-xylene at 22.2, 74.78, 125.01, 175.0, 225.0, and 275.0 degrees under pressures of 25.5, 99.05, 197-11, 295.18 and 393.25 bars. The data indicated a good agreement of experimental and calculated values, the discrepancy not exceeding 4 percent and being below 1 percent in most cases.
