Abstract : The study in the Black Sea coastal regions showed good correlation between fluctuations in average daily values of the tropospheric temperature field and variations in the level of geomagnetic disturbances for all occurrences of solar corpuscular activity over the period 1961-1963. This connection obtained not only for the individual geomagnetic activity maxima and minima, but continuously throughout the entire period. Thus any geomagnetic field disturbance was associated with a change in the synoptics of the coastal regions, perhaps more directly than in continental areas. It was suggested that the closer relationship observed in the spring and fall months may be associated with increased magnetic activity during the equinox. (Author)
