Abstract : A method is developed which depicts the learning process for a work group of N members, of whom only n are required for any given task repetition. Random selection of participating members and absence of group learning interaction are assumed. Tabled values of the learning curve, as well as sensitivity charts which show the relationship between learning rate and fraction of group required for task performance are presented as appendices.
