Abstract : The author carried out a complex study of the glasses with a composition close to spodumene during the isothermal crystallization process. Original samples differed in the type of catalyzer only. The results cover the changes in compression deformation, mean coefficient of thermal expansion, density, index of refraction, and coefficient of total light transmission as a function of annealing time at 740 C, and the dilatometric curves of the glass-crystal samples following heat treatment at 740C.
