Abstract : Studies of temperature regulatory adjustments of man in relation to variations in the distribution of heat in the body, i.e., the vertical and longitudinal temperature gradients in the limbs, the core and surface temperature changes of the trunk, which occur following abrupt changes in the environmental temperature and/or the energy metabolism (activity) of the subject. The levels of response under various steady state conditions were also evaluated. (Author)
