Coastal display stations and telephone facilities are also listed. Facilities serving off-shore and high-seas areas are described. Operating policies and procedures for all systems are documented. The work described was performed in the first phase of a study aimed at improving the dissemination of weather information to marine users and at establishing guidelines for future Coast Guard research and development efforts in this field.
