Abstract : A study is reported of the nonstationary (in view of the ablation of the porous solid) laminar boundary layer under conditions of the reaction of the material of porous graphite wall and a gas (hydrogen) introduced through it with the oxygen of the outer stream at a finitely high rate of heterogenous and homogenous reactions. It takes into consideration the internal and external heat and mass transfers of the multicomponential gas. It examines a mode of ablation. The equations of the boundary layer of compressed gas are transformed to a relatively simple form. For the case where the Prnadtl and Schmidt numbers are equal to unity, a solution of the problem is obtained in a closed form. (Author)
