Abstract : The report discusses the problem of quantitatively isolating the contribution of bipolar diffusion in the thermal conductivity of Bi-Sb alloys on the basis of previously conducted studies of the galvanomagnetic properties of these alloys, and experimental measurement of the total thermal conductivity. Single crystals of the solid solutions were extracted from the melt by the method described. The thermal conductivity was measured by the Harman method, used for materials which have high coefficients of thermoelectric efficiency. (Author)
