Abstract : A priori bounds are obtained for some bifurcation problems in fluid dynamics, in particular for the Taylor and the usual Benard problem as well as the generalization of the latter to the case where there is an external magnetic field. It is also shown how the bounds can be used to obtain existence results. (Author)
