Abstract : The report deals with a precise calculation of the b(2) coefficients in the specific heat for a number of ultralow temperature compounds. The result is given for the actual dipole-dipole interaction plus a varying amount of isotropic exchange v. Comparison with experimental data leads to a determination of v. Similar calculations are performed for the T to the -3rd power term in the specific heat. In this case there are two types of contributions; one from the two-point summation and one from the three-point sum or ring diagram. The value of each is determined as experimental values of b(2) with the calculated values of b(2) are substituted in b(3) and the values thus predicted, on the basis of isotropic exchange, are given.
